　　在说教材这个环节，我主要从以下三个方面进行阐述：即：1。教材的地位和作用分析2。学情分析3。教学重点和难点分析
　　1。说教材教材的地位和作用
　　本节课主题语境是人与自然，语篇类型介绍性文章。
　　本次课教学内容的结构特点、地位和作用。根据高中英语新课程标准对语篇教学的目标要求，我在此课，以教材为载体，做到灵活创造性地处理和利用教材。对原有阅读课文材料进行了补充和拓展。本节课是本单元的第二节课，本课描述了唐山地震来临之前、震中及震后所发生的事情，学生进一步意识到震后救护人员和解放军官兵不顾自身安危，奋力抢救，体会地震无情人有情，感人至深的真情。
　　本节课的中心话题是Earthquake（地震），通过谈论地震灾害的严重性，让学生了解如何防震、震中如何保护自己、关护他人的重要性。
