　　指挥反攻的四分卫；团队里的领军人物
　　例：

　　坐摇椅的四分卫（四分卫（Quarterback）是得分手，负责得分的哟，球队的灵魂人物）即指站着说话不腰疼的人。

　　我爸爸是一个没救了的纸上谈兵的人。

　　竭尽全力，一个类似的表达是togiveityourall。（橄榄球、棒球比赛球场用码做长度单位，英制中丈量长度单位，1码3英尺）

　　（2）称赞、夸奖别人：

　　表现出人意料、黑马姿态
　　例：
　　Itcameoutofleftfieldandsnatchedthevictory。
　　这支球队爆冷获得胜利

　　一杆进洞。（源自高尔夫，一次就成功的意思）
　　例：
　　Bobsoldthecartotheladyontheirfirstmeeting；it’saholeinone。
　　鲍勃第一次见客人就把车卖出去了，真是一杆进洞。
　　22。Aknockout
　　颜值爆表，含义就是一个迷倒众生的大美女。（这个说法源自拳击，就是大家可能都听过的KO，被击倒的意思；。注意，这个词通常只用于形容女性）

　　他女朋友颜值爆表
