　　Child：DoIhavetodohomework？
　　宝宝：我一定要做作业么？
　　Mother：Yes，itisimportanttopracticewhatyoulearnedatschool。
　　妈妈：是的，练习在学校学到的东西很重要。
　　Whathomeworkdoyouhavetoday？
　　你今天有什么作业呀？
　　Child：Ineedtopracticemyspellingwords，readabookandcompletethemathproblems。
　　宝宝：我需要练习单词拼写，读一本书和完成数学题。
　　数学题的题既可以叫problem，也可以叫question，美式英语通常用problem，英式英语通常用question。
　　Mother：Okay，hereareyourworkbooksandpencils。
　　妈妈：好的，给你练习册和铅笔。
　　Workbook是上面印有题的练习册。
　　Comesitatyourdesk
　　坐到你的小书桌这儿，
　　andletmeknowifyouneedanyhelp。
　　如果你需要帮助，就告诉我。
　　Child：CanIusemyunicornpencil？
　　宝宝：我能用我的独角兽铅笔吗？
　　Mother：Ofcourseyoucan，
　　妈妈：当然可以，
　　andhereisyourrainboweraser
　　还有你的彩虹橡皮，

　　以防有些东西需要擦掉和修改。
　　Child：Okay。
　　宝宝：好的。

　　妈妈：写作业的时候别玩文具。

　　你老是拿出来摆弄。

　　你浪费的时间越多，

　　作业写得越慢。
　　10minutespass十分钟过去
　　Mom：Youonlydidalittlewriting。
　　妈妈：你就写了这么一点。
　　Couldyoupleasestopdoingthingsnotrelatedtohomework？
　　你能别做和作业无关的事吗？
　　20minutespass二十分钟过去
　　Child：Iamdonewithallmyspelling。
　　宝宝：我把单词拼写都做完了。
　　Mother：Letmecheckit。
　　妈妈：我来检查一下。
　　Welldone！
　　非常好！
　　Ithinkyoursentencesusingyourspellingwordsareverygood
　　我觉得你用单词造的句子非常好，
　　butremembertoputacapitalletteratthebeginning
　　但是记得开头的字母要大写，
　　andaperiodattheend。
　　结尾要加一个句号。
　　Child：Okay，nowcanIreadmybook？
　　宝宝：好的，现在我能读书了么？
　　Mom：Youalsoneedtofixyourhandwriting。
　　妈妈：你还需要修改一下你的书写。

　　写得挺好的，
　　butjustremembertomakethelettersallthesamesize。
　　但是一定要把字都写得一样大。
　　如果写中文作业，把letters换成characters。

　　另外，你要看看老师给你的示范。

　　宝宝：我的s写得怎么样？

　　妈妈：挺好的，但是还能更好。

　　记住要从上面开始写，
　　andcurvedownandaround。
　　往下弯然后再转弯。
　　Thesmallsshouldstartatthemiddledottedline
　　小写s要从中间的虚线开始，
　　如下图所示，美国小朋友使用的英语本与我们不同，使用国内常用的四线英语本时，可以将themiddledottedline替换为thesecondline，将thebottomline替换为thethirdline。

　　然后到最后一条线。
　　ThecapitalStouchesthetopandbottomlines。
　　大写S要顶住上面和下面的线。
　　Usethedottedlineinthemiddletohelpyou。
　　中间那条虚线可以帮助你。
