　　保护环境是大家的职责，大家都知道吧！但是现在的环境状况却不容乐观，比如：有人在地上吐痰，有人乱扔垃圾，还有人拔草、折花。这些都不算什么，因为还有些人，不仅不保护环境，而且还破坏环境。因为有这种人的存在，所以环境才在急剧恶化，因此我们要多加保护环境，对破坏环境的人应该劝阻。这样，树就会多了，草和花也茂盛了，自然，沙尘暴之类的灾难就不会发生了！
　　今天，我就让大家来看看应该怎样保护环境。有些人可能会说：在城市里放几块宣传保护环境的牌子不就好了吗，其实，这种想法是错误的。有人可能会说了：这不是在宣传保护环境吗？当然不是，因为这里有两点原因：1，有一些人有可能每天都不看牌子，所以就不会加入到保护环境的队伍中去。习惯差的，还有可能继续破坏环境。2，那个人看是看了，但他不想加入到这个行列中去或是根本就不想保护环境。从这两点可以说明光是几块宣传的牌子是没用的。哪有人可能会急切地问道：那该怎么办！办法很简单，只要自己要保护环境的信心，自己身边的人也会跟着做的！
　　保护环境第一步：自己学会保护环境。要求：自己要自觉地保护环境，不能连自己都在破坏环境，这样你就连管别人的要求都达不到了。保护环境第二步：劝告别人保护环境。要求：如果见别人乱扔垃圾或吐痰等，应该立即上去劝阻。当然自己也要管得知自己哟！保护环境第三步：让一个集体保护环境。要求：让几十个人并成一个集体，并保护环境。如果你这三点都做到了，那你就是一个保护环境小卫士了！

　　环境是我们人类赖以生存的活动空间，比如说：空气的质量、工地和汽车发出的噪音、水质的好坏、街道的整洁和城市的美观等等都属于环境。现在每天在电视和报纸上都可以看见讲环保的消息，说明大家都很重视环境。
　　这几年我们的长江、黄河上游的人们砍伐树木，不保护环境，使得长江、黄河上游的水和土壤流失的很厉害，长江下游经常发洪水，黄河的水里有好多泥沙。我们新疆的塔里木河是我国最长的内陆河，塔里木河岸边的胡杨林是可以用来吸住泥土不会出现沙尘暴，可是人们在塔里木河的上游大面积开荒截水使得下游河水干枯，造成上百万亩的胡杨林死亡。至使本来就很贫瘠的土地，更加沙漠化。我们乌鲁木齐的人家做饭、取暖的烟囱冒出来的黑烟和汽车尾气的大量排放使的空气被污染。使乌鲁木齐的冬天看不到蓝天，雪也是黑的。
　　我在电视看见韩国的饭店用的筷子都是金属做的，可以反复用。可是在我们国家大大小小的饭店全是用的一次性筷子，据我了解一棵生长五十年的桦树只够十家饭店一天用的筷子的数量，中国有多少家饭店？一天要用多少棵桦树啊！！
　　对于我们校学生来讲要保护环境，首先要从不要乱人垃圾果皮纸屑，见到有人乱扔垃圾要给他讲道理。大人们也不要砍伐树木，这样会污染环境。要从节约每一滴水、每一度电做起、从小树立保护环境的意识，做到保护环境，人人有责。使我们的家园更美好！
